Ok, so I have been wearing my new and 1st Spinnaker watch, the Coral Blue Dumas.... 1st impressions out of box, what a fantastic looking watch. Loved the bracelet, loved the heft and weight, loved the look. Been wearing it 24-7 for a couple of weeks now. I can honestly say, one of my favorite watches in my lineup. Overall look is fantastic, love the vintage shape, and vintage looking dial. While vintage in looks, it is not at all dated IMHO. Great time keeping, I was about 2 minutes fast after a week, so no issues with regulation. the look of the mesh bracelet is fantastic, goes with the watch perfectly. The look of the bezel with its soft green markers, and glass cover is a nice touch, and has very positive clicks, and lines up pretty close to perfect. After wearing it for a while, I have a few suggestions. Not really complaints, but maybe some constructive criticism. First off, a common mention is the bracelet closure and adjustment. A little clunky...I have no issues with the thickness, I rather like how thick it is. The loose strap end looks a tad clunkyue to the thickness, if there was a way to route the end on the inside instead of the outside, and maybe taper the end somehow, it would appear much more streamlined. The keeper piece as supplied is a bit loose, so I carefully bowed it inward on the long outside edge which allows a bit tighter fit, so it stays in place much better. Second, I would love to see the hours hand also trimmed in orange, and a bit more arrow shaped like the minutes hand for better visibility. It tends to get lost a bit as is. Speaking of visibility, the lume is adequate but personal preference would be a bit brighter. A bit hard to see by 3 or 4 am in the dark. Thirdly, and most minorly, the knurling on the stem crown is a bit light, I find it a bit difficult to grasp to screw down after adjustment. But all in all, these are very minor issues in the grand scheme of things. This is a beautiful watch, I love to wear. I find myself glancing at it all day as much to relish the beauty as to check the time. Kudos to Spinnaker for a wonderful watch. Looking forward to my next Spinnaker, ahhh, but which one?
Beautiful watch. I love the look and feel of it on my wrist. I have shown it off a lot and all my friends are impressed
I'm very happy with my watch. Feels robust, is heavy in the good way. In my case that basel is a little bit hard, I guess is because is so new. The bracelet feels like a high quality one BUT the tip gets very loose every 5 seconds, the brand should solve it in the future. Anyway is a great watch.
Hi Cristian, thanks for your feedback. Regarding the bezel, please make sure you've already removed the protective film/sticker from the watch face as that sticker also partially covers the bezel itself (if it wasn't removed, it may prevent the bezel from being turned smoothly). If possible, please send a short video showing the bezel and bracelet/band issues so that we may understand better and assist you further.
Compleix les expectatives. Rellotge contundent i elegant. Magnífics acabats
I like the watch and at this point good finishing and nice rounded edges. Very similar to a 70s omega in appearance but not with a 3k price tag. Clasp may need a bit of rethink down the line but functional but slightly flawed. Still enjoying the watch though favourite one so far
