- zulu band
- Leather strap
Nice watch, love the looks of it. Came to me in only 4 days (i'm in France). Not a big fan of the band (estetic wise), wich I will change for a nato zulu band.
I’m pleased with my purchase. It’s a good solid watch and keeps excellent time. It sits nicely and comfortably on the wrist and materials are of good quality. Well done Spinnaker.
Second Spinnaker to the collection. Great size and perfect as a everyday watch with the leather strap and with the tropic strap excellent for weekend or vacations.
Very happy with the watch, but it is somewhat on the small side for a watch of such thickness. The minimalist design adds both elegance and some brutishness to it.
I'm really quite happy with this watch overall, but it hasn't been a perfect experience, so let me get the negatives out of the way. The bezel, while it has a great clicky feel, is only 90 clicks per rotation, and the printed pattern on my bezel doesn't *quite* line up perfectly with the inner markings. Next, and probably most concerning, is that my unit came with two smudges on the interior of the case back window. This means someone on the assembly line got a bit sloppy. I've got some engineering skills, so I fashioned a custom case back lug engagement tool and opened up the watch and properly cleaned the inside of the lens. Issue now resolved, but it's unfortunate I had to do this. While I had the case open I noticed some plastic in there that I don't have in my other NH35-movement watch. That was also a bit puzzling. I don't like plastic in my watch case for several reasons, but more than likely it won't be a problem anytime soon. Now on to the good stuff. The lume is fantastic! I can easily read the time at night when I wake up, even in if it's been many hours since I charged the lume. My other watch is not nearly as good at illumination. I love the satin finish. So much. I wear the watch most with a Spinnaker orange rubber NATO, and it's such a cool, sporty look. The leather band it came with also seemed surprisingly great, but I've not used it much after getting the NATO straps. Finally, mine has been a consistent timepiece, losing 8.5 seconds per day with very little deviation. With a little adjustment I should be able to get it into COSC standards, or at least close, which is a treat considering the price of this watch. The beefy crown is so cool, too - another contributing factor in why I bought it. I wish it came with a domed sapphire crystal for better robustness, but alas a watch can't be perfect, because then we wouldn't buy more. Overall I recommend! I also hope Spinnaker makes a blue version someday. Thanks!
